Golden Field

Created 2009

At first, in the searing summer, my eyes sought only Nature's green. And then I saw the water tower and the nextdoor neighbor's peeking from the ridge, caught by the near stone and tile, to the odd blue grey metal contrivance -- what does that do when busy? And then I see the rigging to prop and guide with wires one of Nature's young, there next to one already gone.
