It started with Versailles' garden, somewhere. There were palms and trimmed box bushes pinched in tiny planters. They seemed to be in transit to elsewhere. I imagined if I came back in the middle of the night with only
the pool and night sky as illumination, they would look more as though drawn to a source. Plant Mecca.
